Jonathan Ong is a guitarist born and raised in Singapore, currently based in Boston. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music (2016), with a degree in Professional Music. He has performed for and shared the stage with Grammy-nominated gospel artist Deon Kipping, as well as other notable acts including Matt Stinton from Bethel Music, and The Isley Brothers. He also records extensively as a session player for independent artists. He currently performs for Kenyan artist Lisa Oduor-Noah, singer-songwriter Izzy Marcil, and violin extraordinaire Tim Reynolds. When not on tour performing as a sideman, Jon can be found performing with either his guitar trio, his funk group the Funky Monkeys or as a duo with Tim Reynolds in Boston.
